Despite rain all day, yesterday's Portrait Process and Print workshop went off without a hitch. I had a great group of students who all had a fun day and learned some new tricks for model posing, lighting, post processing and re-touching.
Grandson Mason put on a great show first up and had us all wrapped around his little finger with his antics.
Following on, new model Emily Oswin was stunning and helped make the day a great success. Thanks again to Newstead House for making the Resource Centre available for our studio shoot.

I've had this idea and location in mind for quite a while and finally, after a little persuasion, my daughter Jess agreed to be part of the fun. Every girl loves any excuse to put their gorgeous wedding dress back on so it really didn't take too much persuasion. It was a fun morning followed by a great coffee at Buderim to warm up.

My gorgeous daughter Jessica married her long time partner Grant Fuller. I still remember Grant's nervousness when he asked me for Jessica's hand in marriage and now here they were getting married.  I could hardly trust such an important occasion to anyone else but it was impossible to tackle alone so my very dear friend, Bret Nicholls, stepped in to assist. Awesome job thanks Bret. I couldn't have done it without you.

A wonderful Sunshine Coast wedding by the water. I'll be honest though, the light on the jetty where the ceremony was held was harsh with a capital H. Direct sunlight and reflections off the water kept the light bright and it was quite warm. Difficult conditions but made easy by a wonderful couple.
